Little Flyers Day Nursery is owned by "First Years Nursery Ltd" and is situated at Woodside Camp, Woodside, Thornwood, Epping, In years gone by, the site has had a number of interesting uses. During the war, the site is believed to have been used for electrical work and our units were the officer's mess. In keeping with this tradition, a drink or two were also enjoyed during the construction, but now the only time when alcohol is consumed here is during open evenings!

The Nursery itself is spacious with a large outside play area. Inside you can find five children's playrooms- all carefully designed, safe, friendly and colourful. The building also includes a self-contained kitchen for the preparation of meals, an office, a staff room and toilet facility for all ages.

Children's playrooms can be safely overseen from the management teams office. In addition, the staff-room provides a relaxing environment in which the staff can re-charge their batteries before their next shift starts.

Rest assured that the whole nursery is within the guidelines set down by the local authorities, so you can feel at ease when you bring your child to Little Flyers Day Nursery.

At Little Flyers Day Nursery we aim to provide full and part time care for any child aged 3 months to 5 years, regardless of race creed or religion. Our carefully selected staff, the design of our premises and the equipment we use ensure a calm safe secure and loving environment. With that in mind our objectives are to provide a safe and happy environment for your child to feel secure and to enable them to grow in confidence and self-esteem.

To provide the best staff, all staff are carefully selected and checked by the local health authorities, and the police. When selecting new staff, high priority is placed on their personality, qualifications, and genuine understanding for children.

An experienced manager leads a team of highly trained staff to operate the nursery. A "key carer" is assigned for each child. The key carer is responsible for all aspects of the child's development, including their physical, intellectual, emotional and social care.

With this in mind we feel we have a nursery, which is safe and happy, run by a first class team who work well together. We aim to give you the parent/guardian complete peace of mind whilst your child is in our care.
